Such an arrangement will definitely improve the driving quality of the truck. Likewise, we estimate the Tundra 2022 will increase the model’s output maximum payload of 1,730 pounds and a towing figure of 10,200 pounds.

Of course, it has to, with the more modern light-duty competitors offering capacities far beyond those ancient figures.

Also known as the TNGA-F, the chassis of the 2022 Toyota Tundra ladder frame was not designed with an eight-cylinder factory in mind. At most, you can look forward to six-cylinder, forced induction, and hybrid assistance for a full-size pickup.

Without entry-level retail customers and deep pockets of fleet operators, sales numbers would never have increased with so many competitors fighting over the same pool of potential buyers.

As a quick refresher, Tundra finished 2019 with 111,673 sales in the United States. The Ford F-Series moved 896,526 units, the Ram was second with 633,694 trucks, and the Chevy Silverado sold 575,569 units.
